Claudia Medina Salazar is a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UCR and went on to complete her Masters in Physician Assistant Practice from USC.

Claudia’s commitment to excellence led her to attend the Primary Care Physician Assistant Program at the prestigious Keck School of Medicine of USC. Before pursuing her career as a Physician Assistant, Claudia gained valuable experience in the medical field as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) just one year after completing her undergraduate studies.

Working on an ambulance, Claudia primarily responded to 911 calls and provided scheduled transports, acquiring essential skills in emergency care. She dedicated 3.5 years to this role before transitioning to work as an emergency room tech. It was during this time that Claudia received the exciting news of her acceptance into PA school, solidifying her passion for healthcare.

Claudia’s personal philosophy revolves around a holistic approach to patient care. She firmly believes in treating patients as whole individuals and collaboratively devising care plans that seamlessly integrate into their daily lives. By collectively troubleshooting the barriers patients face, Claudia helps them achieve their health goals and improve their overall well-being.

When it comes to her patients, Claudia wants them to know that they are in a judgment-free zone. She strives to demonstrate her dedication and genuine care through her actions, always putting their best interests at the forefront. Claudia is also fluent in Spanish.

Beyond her medical career, Claudia enjoys spending time with her family and beloved dogs. Additionally, Claudia finds fulfillment in weightlifting at the gym alongside her sisters. She is an avid reader and aspires to have a library as vast as the Beast’s in Beauty and the Beast. Claudia and her husband share a love for baseball and have set a goal to visit all the MLB parks together.
