Dr. Emily Farias, MD completed her first three years of undergraduate studies at Norco College before transferring to Cal Poly Pomona, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in general Biology in 2016. Driven by her passion for medicine, she pursued her medical education at the esteemed Medical College of Wisconsin, graduating in 2020. Following that, she completed her family medicine residency internship and residency at Loma Linda University from 2020 to 2023.
When it comes to treating patients, Dr. Farias believes in establishing a partnership. She works collaboratively with her patients to improve or maintain their health and quality of life. Dr. Farias understands the importance of individualized treatment plans that are not only effective but also manageable in their day-to-day lives. She recognizes that each patient is unique and tailors her approach accordingly.
Dr. Farias’s passion for medicine stems from witnessing the profound impact a strong physician-patient relationship can have on individuals and their families. She has seen firsthand how medical knowledge, combined with providing hope, comfort, and a listening ear, can significantly impact patients’ well-being.
Dr. Farias remains committed to Women’s Health and delivering evidence-based care to her patients. Dr. Farias wants her patients to know that she values their trust and takes the time to listen attentively. Her primary goal is always to provide the highest quality care that contributes to their overall well-being and enhances their quality of life. She understands that effective communication and building trust are essential aspects of the doctor-patient relationship. In addition to her many other qualities, Dr. Farias is also fluent in Spanish.
Outside of her medical career, Dr. Farias enjoys baking and cooking. She cherishes spending time with her husband and family. Her love for animals is evident, as she has a dog that stays with her mom and four adorable cats. Dr. Farias and her husband also enjoy going to the movies and engaging in escape room activities whenever possible.
