Kim Walker, a Family Nurse Practitioner, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Optima Health’s team in Lake Arrowhead. Graduating from St. Olaf College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1985, Kim embarked on a fulfilling career in healthcare. She continued her education, earning a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Phoenix in 1999, and later specializing with a Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from United States University in 2023.

With 25 years of residency in Lake Arrowhead, Kim has become deeply connected to the community, driven by her passion for providing compassionate healthcare. Her decision to join Optima Health reflects her dedication to positively impacting the lives of residents in mountain communities.

Drawing from her extensive experience as a Registered Nurse in critical care, emergency, and peri-operative services, Kim possesses a comprehensive skill set that enriches her practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Outside of medicine, Kim enjoys exploring the scenic beauty of Lake Arrowhead and spending quality time with her family, embracing the serenity of mountain living.
